Welcome to the Interplanetary Paradigm!

(All of the images in the site header (top of the page) are Nasa Themis infrared images of the planet Mars that I have processed using USGS ISIS and other public domain software.)

This site is founded on the principle that technologies now emerging that will one day allow us to colonize space and other worlds, by the holistic defensible strategies implicit to their design, are the same which, rightly implemented, will ultimately allow us to meet the myriad challenges we face today on Earth.

This model is by necessity concerned with security, defense, and emerging technologies, specifically biotechnologies, and the means to establish self-sufficient, modular, mass-producible infrastructure standards and the systems for their management. We also focus on personal security and privacy, and therefore how such a model would be implemented, as a national security and social welfare overhaul offered as an option, so that none are required to participate but also, so that none are made to go without. This within the scope of the present budget for existing implementations of these essential services.

(Recognize that when I say “we,” I really mean “I.” At present I am an independent non-profit organization of one! I do however believe quite strongly in this cause.)

Present Strategies are Unsustainable

It is recognized that in the context of exponential technological advance, it is illogical to anymore expect individuals to secure present employment to earn access to abundant and necessary essential resources (such as secure housing and modern healthcare), and moreover that to do so would be immoral, unethical, and possibly criminal.

As by Moore’s Law this advance continues to obsolete the need for specialized human labor at a rate beyond the human capacity to adapt a necessary response or afford to, pushing a labor agenda would be fighting against ourselves. It would only lead to a scenario where, in a time of greater abundance then ever in our history, we compete more fiercely for artificially imposed scarcity than when modern technological solutions were absent, where a greater majority of humans are left without and critically vulnerable to the technologies pursued and developed by the unapproachably exclusive few.

In our present context this leaves a handful of super-powerful individuals and corporations with more influence over the lives of others than perhaps any human should ever be allowed to have, while the majority can look forward to little better than wage slavery to fewer and fewer available jobs, with little or no access to relevant modern healthcare, and being defenseless against the present threat of biotechnology.

It is a game of musical chairs that humanity simply cannot win.

Future-proof Society

(The “Millennium Gate,” Earth’s first self sustaining civic environment, as depicted
in the fictional Star Trek universe.)

By consolidating the largely disparate budgeting for necessary social programs and national defense into such a model as we propose, the end result is more for less. By offering such a model as a public opt-in, no one will ever risk losing everything for the crime of not presently serving a function to the short-term goals of wealthier individuals or groups.

Were such a model to be adopted, as is seen necessary in our present technological context of risk, a model where all have access to standard public housing on an accountable network of modular infrastructure designed with security and compliance to green standards in mind, we predict there would be an exponential increase in both the health of society and of our modern economy.

By liberating humanity from the burden of doing only what they must to afford to live, we see an age when people are free to pursue what they are truly inspired to do. We predict the effect of this would lead to a marked decrease in crime and human suffering, and an increase in incentive to produce art, to create future business opportunities, and to choose to work doing what we love to afford the things we desire.

A society where all are truly free and none go without essential means and security only serves to strengthen the cause of peace and the pursuit of happiness. What better time to begin than an age when even the United States Central Intelligence agrees, the context of threat in biotechnology alone mandates we implement exactly such a strategy?

The time has come!
